Women's Southwest Area Auxiliary
This outreach group sponsors irregularly held classes to introduce interested women to the naturist lifestyle. These informal social meetings offer an opportunity to relax for a couple of hours at a secluded hot tub location, where questions on naturism are answered and discussed.
Often, attendees will follow up the session by later attending a WANR one-day field excursion to a clothing-optional beach or a hot springs site.
Each class is usually arranged in small groups of 6 people or less. This helps to keep the intimidation factor low and to allow a greater degree of comfort.
Most gatherings are held in the Los Angeles area. Attendees must be 18 years old.
Some separate mixed sessions are held whereby an attendee may bring a male companion (spouse or boyfriend) along.
