Secret Harbor Creek Beach
Warm summer mornings are in sharp contrast to the frigid
winter snow which
oftens covers the lake's beaches located at an elevation of over 6200 feet.
The deepest depth of Lake Tahoe is an incredible 1645 feet!
This is the beach recommended for the serious naturist.
Best maintained of the beaches, it is generally all nude.
Secret Harbor Creek Beach is located at the southern end of Secret Harbor and at
the terminus of Secret Harbor Creek which runs out of the mountainous slopes behind the beach.
Secret Harbor Creek Beach is a popular naturist destination attracting groups of friendly,
naturist sun bathers.
For the adventurous, a further trail hike southward takes one to Whale Beach which has serveral
small naturist areas.
The nude beaches generally face west and on clear days provide great views of the High Sierras across the
sparkling lake. Although in the shadow of the adjacent ridge in the very early morning, the west facing
beaches receive maximum solar explosure during the afternoon.
