More Mesa Beach
More Mesa is located west of the city of Santa Barbara,
between Hope Ranch and U.C.S.B. Take U.S. 101 to the Turnpike Road exit and go
south (towards the ocean). Turn left on Hollister and travel east to Puente Drive.
Turn right on Puente Drive and go 3/4 (three-quarter) miles until you come to
Mockingbird Lane (on your left side). Park on Puente Drive near Mockingbird Lane
as Mockingbird Lane is a private street and has a strict parking restriction
which is enforced.
Then walk to the end of Mockingbird Lane's cul-de-sac and take the trail on
the left side. The path winds through a large field to a wooden stairway which
descends to the beach. The walk through the field will take about 10 minutes.
The nude portion of the beach is directly west of the stairway. Please DO NOT go
nude east of the stairway.
